Famous Stamps is dedicated to offering our customers a large selection of attractive and fascinating postage stamps in excellent condition, ensuring your complete satisfaction. We have a wide variety of items for sale from Britain, Europe, and around the world, as well as a large number of topical stamps. Our online shop specializes in items in mint never hinged condition, we maintain a diverse inventory, and we add new items frequently.

Why are we in this business? Quite simply, we love stamps! We happily embrace the idea that collecting stamps - in whatever manner you choose to do so - is something of an anachronism in our modern, rushed, high-tech world, which is part of its charm. It's a calm, quiet, relaxing hobby that permits us to retreat to a world filled with miniature works of art, often depicting historical events, people, and places, and providing a window into different cultures and eras.

Daniel McAdam, our founder and Managing Director, has been a stamp collector for over 40 (!) years, and is a recognized Dealer-Member of the American Philatelic Society, an organization that he has been a member of for over 25 years. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to stamps, and a strong commitment to ethical dealing and customer satisfaction.

Our sister store, Sonora Stamp Shop, has been doing business on Etsy since 2019, where we've transacted over 2,600 sales and have consistently maintained a 5-star customer satisfaction rating.
