Collection: Ireland Postage Stamps
Ireland began issuing its own postage stamps in 1922, shortly after securing dominion status from Britain. Prior to this, British stamps were used in Ireland. The initial Irish stamps were overprinted British stamps with Irish text. Ireland uses Éire as the country name on its postage stamps.
